Cellist Carolyn Rosinsky has given numerous recitals and performances in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic areas and in London, UK, including performances at the Blackheath Halls in London and the Warner Theatre in Washington, DC. She has concertized extensively as a chamber musician, performing with the London Piano Trio Society, and as an orchestral musician, including performances at the Royal Festival Hall and the Savile Club in London.
Carolyn has participated in solo and chamber music master classes with Peter Wiley, Ann Schein, Earl Carlyss, Ronald Leonard, and the Wihan Quartet. A versatile musician, Carolyn is also a proficient pianist, and has directed orchestras, coached chamber music, and served as musical director of student a-capella singing groups. Carolyn places great importance on education through music, and has worked with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra's OrchKids program and youth in Peru and Brazil through AmaZon Art. She also often plays in non-traditional or public venues in the community.
After graduating from Johns Hopkins University in 2011, Carolyn completed her Master of Music degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2012, where she studied with David Kenedy on a Trinity College of Music Trust Scholarship. Carolyn has also studied with Alison Wells at Peabody Conservatory, and with Ilya Finkelshteyn, Evelyn Elsing, Gita Ladd, and Fiona Thompson.
